LORD, our efforts to make ourselves happy have yielded much unhappiness.
Our anxiety about our tomorrows steals the pleasures from our todays, and our anger towards our neighbour strangles our hearts. Please, release us from our preoccupation with ourselves and all our troubles, and begin filling us with Your indescribable JOY. Thank You! Amen.
